Assign different SE behavior to regions so stone, grass, sand, wood, and other terrain types feel distinct.

Turn ordinary Region IDs into gameplay surfaces: footsteps, movement changes, HP/MP effects, common events, and terrain behaviors that make maps feel alive.
Sand can slow the player down. Tall grass can rustle. Lava can burn. Healing springs can restore HP. Cursed floors can drain MP. Mud can block dashing. Gravel can crunch underfoot. Magic tiles can trigger common events.
Unlike the free lite version, Region Surface Traits is a flexible, general-purpose terrain behavior plugin. You choose which Region IDs are active and decide exactly what each one does.
Paint a region on the map, set up that region in the plugin parameters, and your terrain starts behaving differently in-game.
Assign different SE behavior to regions so stone, grass, sand, wood, and other terrain types feel distinct.
Adjust speed, dashing, and passability behavior to make terrain affect how the player moves through a map.
Create lava, poison, healing, recovery, or magical terrain effects that trigger while the player explores.
